"The multi-activity itinerary is unique. Our local host was absolutely wonderful in every way. Always punctual and communicative, friendly, knowledgeable - just perfect. She even created a custom bike itinerary for us on the ride to Trosa."
Jeff, Hike, Bike and Paddle Stockholm's Lakes and Islands, September 2026
"We really enjoyed our sea kayaking trip in the Stockholm Archipelago. Our Swedish kayak hosts were great. Some of the highlights were watching the sunset and the moon rise over the still waters at our campsites and taking time to slow down and watch the wildlife; we saw many dragonflies as well as seabirds."
Susan, Self-guided Sea Kayaking in the Stockholm Archpelago, September 2026
"A huge thank you for helping organize my September birthday canoeing trip to the Swedish wilderness. Paddling through glass-flat lakes and camping on secluded islands gave us the ultimate escape. We experienced a profound, uninterrupted peace and quiet, not meeting anyone for two days. Crisp autumn air, cozy campfires, and complete disconnection from the modern world made it unforgettable."
Toby, Canoe Tours on Svartälven, September 2026
"It was a really great trip! We had a brilliant time. The local host was great and all the packrafts worked well."
Rob, Self-guided Packrafting and Hiking in Tiveden, September 2026
"I just got back from Sweden end of last week, wow what a trip - of course the walk was the best part - Maria at the hiking centre is just so lovely and her Mum too! Was very lucky with the weather, it rained for about an hour I was there the whole time! Absolutely beautiful place! Was sad to leave. The effort and care that Maria puts into the centre is incredible and the food too!"
Zoe, Self-guided Hiking on the High Coast, September 2026
"Wanted to say thank you for an amazing trip. So well organised and such attention to detail. Our local host was fabulous and really look after us. The information you sent before hand and the local knowledge once there was so great it made our holiday. We hope to see what other adventure trips we may embark on with you."
Diane, Hike, Bike and Paddle Stockholm's Lakes and Islands, September 2026
"Absolutely brilliant trip. Our local host was such a great person and so generous with the gear. I've used Nature Travels previously and always really happy with the service. The best part was the fact we could break our kayaking with other activities like hiking and most importantly visiting Harstena bakery and smoked eel from the kiosk."
David, Self-guided Sea Kayaking in St. Anna and Gryt, August 2026
"Thank you for everything! You made the trip more easily accessible. We really enjoyed the adventure as a whole, the wilderness without time and people, the blueberries and heather, the many reindeer."
Sascha, Discover Wilderness Canoeing in Rogen, August 2026
"We had a really wonderful time. We loved the walks and the swims. The hotels were great and the food also very good."
Ellie, Discover the Islands of the Stockholm Archipelago, August 2026
"Pre-departure info was very comprehensive. The highlight was rowing out across the lake (in the provided rowboat) to one of the smaller islands and having a picnic there. Thanks so much for all your help, especially in our odd request to get some books on Swedish flora and fauna delivered - which all went really smoothly."
Andrew, Lakeside Cabin Retreat in Värmland, August 2026
"Fantastic nature and possibility to use a sauna on the islands. Already did a prior trip last year to Sweden and were very happy with it."
Bjarne, Self-guided Kayaking in the Archipelago Sea, August 2026
"I just wanted to say thank you very much for such a well organised trip. All the pre-info was really helpful and the team in Sweden were brilliant. The kit and advice was really helpful and we had a great adventure!!"
Ilana, Canoe and Wild Camp in the Båven Lake System, August 2026
